From workshop to Top Chef spotlight: our plates in the spotlight!

Sometimes, a ceramic piece doesn't just sit on a table. It travels, it tells a story, and sometimes, it finds itself in the spotlight of the greatest kitchens... That's exactly what happened to one of our creations at KOMET ceramic!

We designed three plate models for an exceptional shoot in the quarries of Les Baux-de-Provence. Organic shapes, a refined design, a light-catching finish... We wanted these pieces to express the encounter between the earth and gastronomy, between the artisanal gesture and the culinary art. But we never imagined that these plates would continue their journey to the tables of Château du Theil, in the hands of chef Esteban Salazar.

A rising star in an exceptional setting

A talented chef, Esteban Salazar chose our creations to enhance his dishes at Château du Theil, a place that embodies refinement and creativity. And then, surprise: he was selected to take part in Top Chef! As a member of Paul Pairet's brigade, he puts his audacity and savoir-faire to the test under the watchful eye of the cameras... and with him, our plates!

Seeing them on screen, in such a prestigious setting, was a source of immense pride for us. It symbolizes everything we stand for: ceramics that are not content to be a mere support, but that accompany the finest culinary creations, in harmony with the chef's universe.

When ceramics meets gastronomy

Since the creation of KOMET ceramic, we have always had this ambition: to offer unique pieces, designed to magnify the work of chefs. Every texture, every curve, every glaze is carefully designed, in dialogue with the demands of haute cuisine.

Seeing our plates in the hands of a talent like Esteban Salazar, and seeing them on screen in Top Chef, confirms our mission. Hand-crafted ceramics have their rightful place on gourmet tables, and we are honored to contribute, in our own way, to this alchemy between the art of the table and culinary excellence.
