Working with local craftsmen

Our know-how at the service of your creations!

KOMET offers you ceramic objects adapted and thought out to suit every need and universe.

Each new project begins with a personal consultation.
After this, we begin to think about the shape and a strong concept that will be the common thread running through all future production.
For us, it's a real collaboration where your identity and KOMET's sensibility come together.
The earthenware resulting from this process can be exclusive to your establishment, at the client's request.
It's impossible to find your model in any other restaurant but your own!

Break standard ceramic codes with ultra-light plates and serving dishes. Our earthenware slip technique enables us to strike the perfect balance between lightness and strength.
We carry out weight, heat and water resistance tests in our own workshop. KOMET ceramic products are dishwasher-safe
All our products pass through the hands of our Artisan d'Art at every stage of manufacture, and are tested and approved for food use by a certified French laboratory, the SFC.

When you work with KOMET, you're assured of an eco-responsible and ethical product. Our suppliers are chosen according to their French locality. We recycle all our waste and manufacturing water. All baking stages are carried out on solar panels. Local roots are fundamental to our creative approach.

We believe it's essential to invest in every aspect of the "GOOD" place. We need to find the soul in the product, the passion in the plate

Naomi SEM - Groupe Elodie Villemus

It all began on 6 February.

"[...] I'm currently preparing for a new photo shoot [...] in April at the famous Carrière des Lumières in Les Baux-de-Provence. [...] I am convinced that your expertise and artistic sensibility would be a major asset for this project" from NAOMI SEM

Naomi Sem contacted us following our recent collaboration on ceramic pieces for floral art. The moodboard we received the very next day announced a grandiose setting!
At the very start of the design process, it seemed obvious to us to contrast the geometry of this white limestone space with the play of intense light and shadow.
The crockery had to be asymmetrical, almost organic, and evoke softness and lightness. Its colour should resonate with these mineral strata, subtly off-set to take its place on the table, but restrained to blend in with the environment and décor. Transparent matt enamel is perfect for this challenge.

The artistic direction was clear, and it was time to start production! [Read more in our dedicated article]

Available in two volumes, one oblong and one round, this ceramic work is a meticulous work of earthenware drapery
Inspired by Hellenistic sculpture, matte glaze was chosen to modernize and add a velvety texture.
The ensemble brings light and volume to any setting.

The Savonnerie du Larzac

The soap was invented 4,500 years ago by the Sumerians in the form of a soapy paste based on fat and potassium carbonate.

It was then used as a remedy for skin diseases and not for daily cleansing.

The Savonnerie du Larzac (soap factory) - Soaps with sheep’s milk, holder of the label «Manufactured in Aveyron», perpetuates this ancestral soap thanks to its natural compositions. The sheep’s milk comes from the farm of Alexandre and Emilie breeder at the Ferme d'Alcas.

The different models of soaps proposed by the brand have compositions with virtues and perfumes from essential oils with beneficial properties for the body and the being !

It is therefore full of joy and with great pleasure that KOMET collaborated with this local craftsman, with strong and regional values!

Also you can find soap doors unique, designed in collaboration with this artisan who adopted the Aveyron and that the Aveyron has adopted at its fair value, from Tuesday, June 27 to the shop-workshop located 8 Rue Peyssière, 12100 Millau !
